    ISO13797 Cruciform Bollard 

    The posts of the cruciform bollard shall be constructed from steel tubes or formed from steel plates according to the standard of ISO13797. The marine bollard shall be constructed from weldable steel tubes having a yield point of not less than 215N/mm2 or formed from weldable steel plates having a yield point of not less than 235N/mm2. All surfaces of double cruciform bollards with the ropes shall be free from surface roughness or irregularities likely to cause damage to the ropes by abrasion. It shall be coated externally with an anti-corrosion protective finish. Depending on the manufacturing method of the material, ISO13797 cruciform bollards shall be classified as two types, Type A – manufactured by steel tubes ad Type B – manufactured by steel plates. The cruciform bollards are designed and manufactured to our customer’s precise requirements and provided with material certification.

    Differences Between Type A And Type B

    The material between type A cruciform bollard and type B cruciform bollard is different. The yield strength of Type A cruciform bollard is 215N/mm2 and the yield strength of type B cruciform is 235N/mm2. Besides, there is little difference between the weights of two types, please refer to the technical parameters in the above table.
